I support Kristin Smith for Durango School Board.
I have known Kristin for six years, and she has been volunteering her time at multiple Durango schools to help make them better for children, teachers and staff. She is a natural leader, listens to all sides, and does her research before making a decision.
I was on the Needham PTO board with Kristin and was always amazed with her ability to stay calm under pressure and get tasks done, big and small.
I am voting for Kristin Smith because I believe the 9-R school board needs a parent’s voice on it, and I know Kristin well enough to know she is the best person to fill this seat. I know that Kristin believes in public education and the ability for it to benefit every student.
The ballot may be short for this election, but checking the box for Kristin Smith is doing something important for all of the children in our community.
