Chapman Ski Hill on Florida Road in Durango opened for the season, Monday, Dec. 20.
The ski area has 500 feet of vertical terrain, a bumps course, park features, and ski and snowboard lessons. Tubing is permitted with proper conditions. Call 375-7395 for condition updates.
