Durango Theatreworks will present the regional premiere of “A Christmas Carol – A radio play” by Nathan Jerkins at 7 p.m. Friday as a VIP event. The VIP Benefit Preview will have holiday treats and beverages, including a champagne toast.
Tickets cost $50. The show will be at Fort Lewis College’s MainStage Theater, 1000 Rim Drive.
This retelling of the Dickens classic story is set as a 1940s radio play with a group of actors portraying a multitude of colorful characters with live music and sound effects performed by the company members. “A Christmas Carol – A radio play” will run for seven performances from Dec. 9 to Dec. 18.
