Marvel Grange will host a chili cook-off and dessert auction at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Grange, 217 County Road 133A in Marvel.
To enter the chili cook-off, participants are to bring 1 gallon of prepared chili, ready to serve and a $10 entry fee. Entry fees will serve as the prizes for the winners. Everyone is encouraged to bring a dessert to auction.
The proceeds will be used to help needy individuals and families in the area with their electric bill or other needs.
