The Pine River Garden Club is hosting its Annual Plant Exchange from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 18 at the Pine River Library, 395 Bayfield Center Drive, in Bayfield.
To participate, people can either bring plants in for exchange or bring cash or checks (only) to take plants home. Bringing plants for exchange is encouraged but not necessary. All types of plants are found and welcome at the exchange, and the selection is based on the plants brought in. Plants that tend to show up can include vegetables, flowers, house plants, bulbs, fruit trees, herbs, etc.
Donations from the plant sale benefit the community garden at the Pine River Library and Bayfield area school gardens.
