Perhaps you voted for Donald Trump. Now 30 days in to his presidency perhaps you’re questioning that decision, feeling confused, uncomfortable, uncertain or more.
Rather than beating yourself up, feeling ashamed, embarrassed, remorseful, etc., there is something you can now do to help the situation.
Call your Republican members of Congress and let them know that they must stop Trump and Elon Musk. Don’t worry, we all make mistakes. I’ve made more than my fair share. Amends for our mistakes can go a long way in repairing any damage done and restoring our self-worth and our relationships. Where to start?
Log on to 5calls.org. There are numerous issues you can call your members of Congress about. Pick one, read about it and then dial the number at the bottom of the script and leave a message. You might get lucky and actually get to talk to someone.
Then do it at least four more times and every day until the current chaos is resolved. And then, call your members of Congress and thank them for their bravery and for doing their job, representing their constituents.
This suggestion is one small thing we can all do. And there’s more, much, much more. It is up to all of us to protect our democracy. Thank you for your consideration.
