The city of Durango’s announces its schedule for Veterans Day on Tuesday:
- City administrative offices will be closed. This includes: City Hall, Community Development and Engineering, Police Station and Substation, Transit Center, Greenmount Cemetery and Parks and Recreation administrative offices, and Santa Rita Water Reclamation Facility.
- Durango Parks and Recreation. The Durango Community Recreation Center, Durango Gymnastics and Chapman Hill will be open with regular hours.
- Durango-La Plata County Airport will offer regularly scheduled commercial service. The airport administration office will be closed. Travelers are encouraged to arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before scheduled departure.
- Durango Public Library will be closed Tuesday.
- Commercial and residential trash and recycling pickup will shift to a Wednesday-Saturday schedule. The Durango Recycle Center will be closed Tuesday.
- Durango Transit will operate Tuesday. The Transit Center and Transit Center Customer Service window will be closed.
- Parking at meters is free downtown on Tuesday.
