The city of Durango will host Edible Plant Excursion Alpine Hikes from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays – July 11, July 18, July 25, Aug. 8 and Aug. 15. The cost is $35 per day.
Participants will learn about plants in the local environment that are either edible, medicinal or both.
People will meet at the Durango Community Recreation Center and carpool to the site. Bring a snack, notebook and/or camera.
