BHS volleyball coming up aces

Wolverines win their third consecutive match

You’d need four decks of cards to match how many aces the Bayfield High School volleyball team had against Centauri on Saturday.

The Wolverines (10-2, 3-0 Intermountain League) aced 15 serves in a 3-0 (25-17, 25-12, 25-14) win over the Falcons (3-8, 1-1 IML).

Maddi Foutz led the team with six, while Suzie Rhodes had five.

Kirstie Hillyer picked up 13 kills on 14 attempts with no errors.

The team had a .442 attack efficiency for the match.

BHS has won three consecutive matches and will play Monte Vista on Thursday at home.
