My son and I flew from Indianapolis to attend the Durango Bluegrass Meltdown. It was my fourth; my son’s first. And what a Meltdown it was! The bands were fantastic, the music even better and then the jams: OMG! We had a wonderful time. On behalf of both of us, I want to thank the organizers of the Meltdown, all the volunteers, those who provided the venues and most of all, the musicians. We stayed at the Strater, and the staff members were courteous and helpful. Durango has wonderful restaurants, and we regretted we could not stay on and continue to enjoy the great food. I also want to thank the greater Durango community for supporting the Bluegrass Meltdown. It is a treasure to be enjoyed and supported. We will be back. Keep it up!
