Letters: Better a park than a problematic bridge

Instead of spending so much money on the pedestrian bridge across the Animas River with all its problems, why not use the money to buy Buckley Park?

This would preserve the park and allow it to be dedicated to future public use forever.

The bridge, on the other hand, is not needed and is too expensive.
