Andrea Zelinski and the Bayfield Wolverines can extend their winning streak to four games when they host Ignacio High School at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Wolverine Country Stadium. It will be Bayfield’s last home game of the season, and they’ll celebrate five seniors in their final home game. BHS (9-3, 7-1 3A Region 5) beat IHS (0-11, 0-8 3A Region 5) 6-0 the first time the teams played. The Wolverines currently trail Alamosa by one game for first place in the conference. IHS hasn’t won this season, but the Bobcats have scored six goals this year and found the back of the net in five out of their last seven games. The Wolverines only have allowed five goals in conference play all season.
