Mitsch Bush views precise, can beat Tipton

As a Democrat who is critical of Trump, Trump enablers and the Republican agenda, I’m hoping the Democratic Party will nominate the candidate most likely to prevail against Scott Tipton in November. I have examined the websites and statements of the leading contenders, Diane Mitsch Bush and Karl Hanlon, and heard each speak at length. Either one would be preferable to Scott Tipton as our representative.

My own view is that Diane Mitsch Bush would be the better representative for our district and would be more likely to defeat Scott Tipton. She has a deep understanding of, and sound views on, the economic and social issues we are all concerned with. She expresses herself clearly, unflinchingly and convincingly. Karl Hanlon’s views strike me as less precise.

I am particularly impressed with Diane’s character, intellect and good judgment. I think she could out-debate Scott Tipton on any issue. She is not beholden to special interests or campaign donors. She has pledged, as has Hanlon, to take no money from any corporate PAC.

Diane has strong legislative experience that would serve her well in Congress. She was a two-term county commissioner and a three-term Colorado State Representative, in each case winning elections by sizable margins. She has every one of the attributes I would hope to find in a candidate. I believe she can defeat Scott Tipton and would be a superb representative of our district in Congress.
