There are many exciting changes in the near future for Bayfield School District. The new intermediate school will be opening for the 2018/19 school year with a new principal. The existing elementary school should be ready to open its doors as the K-2 school, also with a new principal. These changes are exciting.
I would like to thank Amy Lyons for her hard work and dedication to the Bayfield School District, as she played a significant role in the passage of the bond initiative. Amy gracefully fulfilled the requirements as the district finance director, took on additional responsibilities as acting superintendent when Troy Zabel was unable to, and worked many additional hours to provide help and guidance to the committee working to support the bond.
This current school year, as interim superintendent, Amy worked to the best of her ability to keep the district running smoothly in the midst of a major building project.
