The Community Health Action Coalition will hold a free workshop about Advance Care Planning from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
Advance Care Planning is the process of documenting future health care decisions. Topics include: having the conversation, pros and cons of life-sustaining technologies, and understanding Colorado Advance Directive forms.
Dr. Anne Rossignol and attorney Tracy Cross will help participants understand and complete Medical Durable Power of Attorney and Living Will documentation. Completed forms can be notarized and delivered to Mercy Regional Medical Center.
A light dinner will be served at 5:15 p.m.
The registration deadline is Feb. 13.
