Bennet must try to block Court pick

With the fate of the Supreme Court on the line it’s time for Sen. Bennet to dispense with his well-intentioned ideals of fair play and working with lawmakers from across the aisle. It’s time for him and all the Democrats to stand up and fight with everything they’ve got.

Everyone agrees that the Garland/Gorsuch seat was stolen by the GOP. Sadly, Sen. Bennet chose to hide behind the quaint notion of bipartisanship and do nothing to stop this theft. Now we are faced with another nomination from the illegitimate president, a man who is currently under investigation for working with a foreign country to undermine our elections.

Sen. Bennet cannot stand by and do nothing this time. Women’s reproductive rights, voting rights and the future of all the public lands we love hang in the balance. The GOP and their president have repeatedly shown that they are willing to lie, cheat and steal to get what they want. Sen. Bennet has to stop believing that he can work with these people and exhaust every option to prevent the appointment of another far-right justice.
