Thank you, Durango! The Durango Botanical Society’s Gardens on Tour held June 22 was our best ever.
This event is only possible thanks to all the homeowners who graciously opened their gardens for the tour. Thanks also goes to the DBS docents, members and Master Gardeners who took the day to volunteer and the plein air artists working in each garden. Entertainment was provided by DHS Demon Strings, Stillwater, Unopposed and the Vivace Mandolin Ensemble.
In addition, a very big thank you to firefighters Spencer Powers-Ackley, Tosh Black, Nate Christiansen and Mark Bauer, who spent their day off in the gardens to answer questions by visitors.
