Letters: Are you really Trump’s kind of people?

Trump aficionados, what do you think of the cleanup your guy is doing as a follow-up to his impeachment?

Senator Susan Collins was sure there would be lessons learned by the president from his impeachment. Well he sure did. He immediately began ridding himself of all of these treasonous people that appeared against him; Alexander Vindman (and his brother, who had no involvement), Ambassador Maria Yovanovitch, Gordon Sondland.

And now John Rood, top policy official in the Pentagon, who certified that “the government of Ukraine has taken substantial actions to make defense institutional reforms for the purpose of decreasing corruption.”

We all know quid pro quo is something no president would ever do for his own personal purposes. So it’s another treasonous trick by Julian Assange’s attorney who alleged in court recently that our president offered to pardon his client if he would deny Russian involvement in the Democratic National Committee hack in 2016.

Oh how these people lie – and this guy an attorney no less.

And now Trump has granted pardons to the likes of Michael Milken, junk bond king with major responsibility for the 2008 financial meltdown, Bernard Kerick, former New York City police commissioner convicted of financial crimes including a quid pro quo (gasp), and Rod Blagojevich, former governor of Illinois, convicted for trying to sell Barack Obama’s vacated Senate seat. These are good people, Trump’s kind of people.

Are you Trump’s kind of people? Do you really want him in the White House for four more years?
