Maryl Winterscheid says she prepared hundreds of chicken tacos Sunday for Mountain Stir Fry’s booth at the Taste of Durango. The fundraiser by Durango’s chapter of the Colorado Restaurant Association went to benefit the Alano Club, Durango Adoptive Sports Association, Durango Adult Education Center, La Plata Open Space Conservancy, Music in the Mountains and Sexual Assault Services Organization.
