The Extraordinary Woman Award Dinner will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at DoubleTree Hotel, 501 Camino del Rio. The event will have a catered dinner and award presentation, with keynote speaker Tina Beekmann, executive protection specialist.
Each year, the Women’s Resource Center honors one to three extraordinary women in the community. Rachel Turiel, teacher of nonviolent communication, will be celebrated at this year’s Women’s Resource Center fundraiser. Tickets cost $50 per person and can be purchased at https://bit.ly/2UchnhV.
