Rep. Scott Tipton once again proves himself a Trump sycophant, recreant and republican yes-man (“
In the article, he says Ambassador William Taylor reporting what his aide overheard in a phone conversation between the president and Ambassador Gordon Sondland was hearsay because Taylor didn’t hear it himself.
When one of Rep. Tipton’s aides reports to him of what she heard, does he dismiss it as hearsay?
He goes on to say that there was no quid pro quo because in the end there were no investigations and the aid was delivered.
We arrest people when it is discovered that they are plotting a crime, often terrorists, but most recently three middle school students in Albany, New York, who were planning an attack on their school.
The attack wasn’t carried out. Based on Tipton’s rationale, no crime was committed; so why were they arrested and charged with conspiracy?
It is becoming clearer and clearer that the president and his cronies planned to withhold aid unless Ukraine investigated the Bidens as well as the unfounded claim that Ukraine participated in disrupting the 2016 US elections; the administration only released the aid two days after it heard of the whistlerblower’s report and realized it had been caught.
It is time to get rid of Tipton and any Republican, or Democrat for that matter, who continues to put party over country.
It is time to end divisive politics and return to being the UNITED States of America.
