The Electoral College is there for a reason, and I very much believe in it. If the Electoral College is done away with, it will then be the beginning of the end of our country.
What worked in 1787 with 4 million citizens remains valid today! Simply because the population is bigger now does not invalidate the reasoning behind it. I very much believe in the Electoral College, and I do not appreciate the effort of it being done away with.
