Here is your chance to install energy shields, contact departed

WholeExpo assemblage reconvenes for 19th time
Acupuncture will be among the treatments on display at the WholeExpo this weekend at the Exhibit Hall at the La Plata County Fairgrounds.

The WholeExpo, an annual assemblage of holistic healers and practitioners of arcane crafts, is returning to the La Plata County Fairgrounds this weekend for the 19th year.

In excess of 90 workshops, seminars, exhibits and consultants who teach how to get in touch with oneself as well as communicate with those on the other side will be available Saturday and Sunday.

It’s a showcase of holistic health, self-knowledge and enlightenment, a chance to get your chakra checked or learn the value of getting your joints manipulated.

The keynote speaker is Trisha Dolan, a clairvoyant and clairaudient who says she sees and hears, respectively, messages from the dearly departed. She will speak from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday.

Among the offerings:

Shaman Jean, a priest and wisdom keeper in the Inca tradition, will talk on shamanism and then lead a short journey to install an energy shield.

Harbhajan S. Khalsa is a clairvoyant and healer who treats such problems as brain injuries, chronic fatigue, nausea, frozen shoulder, sleep problems, impotency and fibromyalgia.

Debbie Meyers, a nurse with 35 years of experience, reveals the connection that health has with laughter and joy.

Anna-Marija Helt will teach how to use cooking spices medicinally and how to use medical herbs in cooking; Helt also will share folklore related to plants and herbs.

People also interested in learning African drumming, how handwriting affects life or how to make natural perfumes can find an instructor at the WholeExpo.

Chiropractors, tarot card readers and chair masseuses will be offering their services.

The WholeExpo, in the main Exhibit Hall at the fairgrounds, 2500 Main Ave., will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. An admission of $5 is good for both days. Children 12 and younger and people older than 65 are admitted free.
