On Feb. 13, I read with a fairly high level of astonishment Fred Gale’s letter to the Herald comparing President Obama to Adolf Hitler. I completely support any of us being free to share our dislikes and frustrations with any public figure.
Gale has written numerous letters in the past criticizing the president for his views and actions – however, none of the past submissions has gone so far as to compare our country’s elected leader to a murderous megalomanic. Whether he or I like Obama or not, that correlation went too far in my opinion.
