I am having a difficult time understanding why our local news finds itself to be more and more spokespersons instead of journalists.
Having been characterized as a wealthy special interest group, manipulated by conspiracy and belittled for caring for the rights of landowners, I feel the Herald should become a political commentary publication and quit pretending any idea of searching out the truth.
If ethics was not an issue before, the lies and use of innuendo by Gwen Lachelt and her supporters to demonize concerned constituents should register concern now.
Post the letters from both sides or declare partisanship and be done with the charade.
