La Plata County Humane Society will hold its 20th annual Adopt-A-thon from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 7 and 8 at 1111 South Camino del Rio, just north of Wal-Mart.
There will be reduced adoption fees, hot food, cold beverages, dog training tips, a prong-collar exchange, tarot card readings for you and your new pet, ’80s music and major discounts at the Thrift Store.
Bring your Humane Society graduates and see if they make a new friend. Last year, LPCHS adopted 53 pets in two days – you can help it beat that record! Thanks to Pet Haus and Durango Motor Co. for making this fun and lifesaving event possible.
