A plant sale will be held 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the TARA Community Center, 333 Milton Lane, in Arboles.
Proceeds from the sale will be used toward the needs of the Allison Area Grow Dome. Donations also will be accepted. The dome is a community nonprofit, operating under the sponsorship of P.I.C.K. (People Improving Communities and Kids), the Colorado State Grange’s 501(c)(3); thus contributions to it are tax deductible.
Also from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, the TARA Community Center will host a Mother’s Day afternoon tea, with tea and bites, and games for children. Organizers suggest: “Make it fun, wear a fun hat and turn it into a mad hatters tea party.”
