Animas Surgical Hospital will host an informational and interactive seminar about the causes of back pain and treatment options from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.

Attendees will be able to get real answers about chronic back or neck pain at this free community event.

Topics include: signs and symptoms of many common back conditions, treatment options, at-home exercises patients can do to strengthen their backs and when to seek medical advice.

Speakers will include Dr. Robert Wallach with La Plata Physical Medicine and Andre Botha with Absolute Physical Therapy and Wellness.
