Animas Surgical Hospital will host a free community lecture about common shoulder, elbow and wrist injuries at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, online or at the hospital, 575 Rivergate Lane, Suite 106.
Dr. Brian Butzen with Animas Orthopedic Associates will discuss the diagnosis and treatment of common upper extremity injuries. Butzen will walk attendees through the shoulder, elbow and wrist injuries that he encounters the most in his office.
Medical professionals and the general public are invited to attend. Butzen will also lead a hands-on demonstration of splinting techniques used for upper extremity injuries.
