Animas Valley Grange will host a virtual presentation by Gary Gianniny, “Geologic Explorations of the Tropical Shores and Lost Rivers of Hermosa Mountain,” from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday via Zoom.

Gianniny is a professor of geosciences at Fort Lewis College. Hermosa Mountain, located north of Hermosa, is seen by all who travel north on U.S. Highway 550 from Durango.
