Athletes to End Alzheimer’s will hold a 5K/10K walk/run featuring music by Caitlin Cannon of the Cannondolls and other bands along the route at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Santa Rita Park, 149 South Camino del Rio.
The Sacred Hula Dancers will perform a sendoff, and Batucada and the Dan Higby Band will play with Cannon on the course. A mini sports expo, silent auction, and living assistance expo will also be featured.
All funds from registration fees will benefit the Athletes to End Alzheimer’s scholarship for pre-med students or the Alzheimer’s Association of Durango.
