Botanic Gardens’ Bulb Sale to be held online

The Durango Botanic Gardens’ 13th annual Bulb Sale will once again be conducted online. The Bulb Sale preview is open now, and the online store will be open Aug. 1-14 on the Botanic Gardens’ website: www.DBGBulbSale.org.

Fifty-five types of bulbs will be available to order. Paid orders will be available for pickup mid-October at a variety of locations and times that will be posted on the website. October is the ideal time to plant daffodils, tulips, Dutch iris, hyacinth, crocus and more. Bulbs are easy to grow and return year after year.

By participating in the event, participants support the public gardens at the Durango Public Library, gardens that are designed and maintained by the Durango Botanic Gardens’ volunteers. DBG’s mission is to demonstrate best gardening practices and water conservation strategies. DBG has been running this event since 2011. Contributions from the annual Bulb Sale have made a significant impact in the community.
