A breastfeeding workshop for expecting mothers and fathers will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Kids Rock clothing store, 563 Main Ave.
Participants will learn how breastfeeding benefits the baby and mother, proper latch and positioning, feeding amounts and times, how to prevent or manage damaged nipples, when to ask for help and the best ways to receive support.
A snack and breastfeeding manual will be provided, and partners are encouraged to attend.
