Brown is correct to doubt global warming

Regarding the letter from Phil Carter (Herald, May 13), Colorado Representative J. Paul Brown correctly reflects a huge foundation of scientific and historical data when he expresses his doubts about man-made global warming,

The theory has become more political than scientific, as communities are pressed to enact useless and expensive legislation to fix a humanly unsolvable problem.

As for Congressman Brown’s “lack of touch with ... his own political party,” the voters have firmly demonstrated that we prefer candidates who are not indebted to the incestuous monolith that has taken over the GOP.
