Pine River Library will host a final summer learning party from 1 to 3 p.m. July 30 at the library park.
The party will wrap up the library’s ocean-themed Summer Learning Program with water play like sharks and minnows and a water balloon fight. The Powerhouse Science Center will blow giant bubbles, launching water rockets, shooting off Mentos geysers, and exploring the science of water and liquids with experiments and hands-on activities.
The library will also kick off its newest early literacy program, Hopper’s Happy Readers, which promotes 1,000 learning experiences before kindergarten for children younger than 5.
