(Hashtag) What a PGA Championship.
# Seventy-foot chip should have gone in.
# Let’s have foursomes on the final round.
# Television coverage would last 90 minutes.
# Leaves more room for infomercials.

The Dudley Engle, in its 19th season, will play Aug. 16 at Hillcrest Golf Club. This fundraising – and fun – event for the Durango Emblem Club 131 will pay tribute to a man who had his own ideas regarding the game of golf – ideas we all would love to incorporate in our game, but then there are rules. Engle’s rules eliminated anger and stress. The entry fee is $30 per person, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
