Colorado Proud’s The Next Generation of Ag Statewide Community Tour will make a stop at Durango Farmers Market from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 17 at the farmers market, First National Bank parking lot, 259 W. Ninth St.
The tour focuses on consumers’ “appetite” for locally-grown food, agricultural relationships and innovation.
Colorado Proud media spokesperson Wendy White will be there to connect with Colorado residents and share conversations around agriculture, including innovation and technology and relationships with consumers, farmers, ranchers and retailers.
Educational information about Colorado agriculture and its impact on Colorado’s economy, heritage and environment will be available.
