Colorado wages and salaries are growing

The U.S. economy is booming — in Colorado and beyond. During the second quarter of this year, wages and salaries grew at their fastest pace in nearly a decade, while economic growth surpassed four percent.

At least part of the reason is the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which has made it easier for job creators to hire new employees and reward their customers. While Democrats refer to the tax cuts as “crumbs,” Colorado employers such as Centennial Bolt are using their tax savings to increase worker paychecks, update facilities, and expand to new markets.

This story is being told across America, where 90 percent of wage-earners will see higher take-home pay because of federal tax cuts.

We have plenty to be thankful for, and our economy will continue booming if elected officials continue to enact pro-business policies.

When we help job creators, we see more economic growth and opportunity for all Colorado families.
