The Rotary Foundation Trustees and Rotary International Board of Directors have added a new area of focus: supporting the environment.
More than $18 million in foundation global grant funding has been allocated to environment-related projects over the past five years. Creating a distinct area of focus to support the environment will give Rotary members even more ways to bring about positive change in the world and increase impact.
Grant applications for projects will be accepted beginning July 1, 2021. Gifts and commitments from Rotarians and others will be sought to provide global grant support for the new area of focus.

The covered pavilion may be accessed from the southeast end of the Durango Community Recreation Center parking lot, adjacent to the baseball fields. COVID-19 safety measures include fresh air, hand sanitizer and social distancing of 8 feet between students. Masks are required before and after class to socialize.

Durango Coca-Cola has donated new flavors of Powerade for event participants.
The suggested donation is $10 to $20. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Community Emergency Relief Fund, administered by The Community Foundation. CERF assists local residents impacted by COVID-19.
