The Community Health Action Coalition will hold a meeting from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Eolus Room at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.
Erik Foss, director of Peaceful Spirit, will give an overview of substance-abuse treatment, which will include how patients are assessed, what kinds of treatments are appropriate and how methods are implemented.
The meeting is free and open to all.
