Are there any plans to improve the dirt path on the eastern bank of the Animas between the fairgrounds bridge and Riverview Drive? It could be a great extension of the Animas River Trail, especially with the addition of a bridge somewhere between the library and Rank Park.
The existing (unimproved) path is already heavily used and a more accessible all-weather link to Chapman Hill, Fort Lewis College and nearby neighborhoods would be as useful as the current northern expansion.
