La Plata Open Space Conservancy hired new Adrienne Dorsey as its new executive director.
Dorsey has nearly two decades of experience working in land conservation, sustainability and renewable energy.
She previously managed a statewide conservation fellowship program, led a statewide initiative to expand access to community solar for low-income households in Colorado and built the first sustainability office for Adams County.
