Contest week 5: How well do you know Durango’s public art?

The Creative Economy Commission and

Find the statue in town, identify the name of the public art piece and submit your entry below. Each Friday, a winner will be randomly selected from the entrants that correctly named the piece. The Creative Economy Commission will award the winner two passes to the Durango Community Recreation Center or a pre-loaded parking card worth $20.

This week’s clue: This piece is located next to its natural environment, which runs through the valley. It was created as a community project by Keith Walzak, Kelly Hurford, Mary Anne Griffin, Sandy Bielenberg and Chris Loftus. It joined Durango’s Public Art Collection in 2007.
