Coram 'sound, sane voice’

A recent letter in The Durango Herald repeated the claim by U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert that state Sen. Don Coram, her primary opponent, is corrupt. Now, that’s a serious charge. Has Boebert brought this to the attention of the state’s attorney general? No newspapers have discovered this. No Democratic legislators have voiced this damning charge. Why would Boebert make such an unsubstantiated claim against a fellow Republican?

The answer is that Boebert is a political flamethrower. She makes wild accusations about everything from climate change to guns to conspiracies that involve just about everything. We can count on her to keep herself in the news but you’d be hard pressed to find any legislation she’s authored that’s become law. She’s a self-promoter who would best serve us all by working for MyPillow, not pretending to represent the varied interests in the 3rd Congressional District. A vote for Coram would return a sound and sane voice to our congressional district.
