Eatery will share access with Family Dollar on South Broadway
Popeyes will bring its spicy, Louisiana-style fried chicken to Cortez.
A Popeyes Louisiana Chicken drive-thru restaurant will be built on a vacant lot at 330 South Broadway and share customer access with the Family Dollar store at 324 South Broadway.
Cortez City Council approved the application for the 3,341-square-foot restaurant, submitted by Kansas-based firm Plaza Street Partners, on Tuesday after the city planning department’s recommendation.
Plaza Street Partners was unavailable for additional information.
