Durango Creative District Incubator for Emerging Artists presents “Revel in Play: seize the moment,” featuring all new abstract paintings by Durango local artist, Heather Freeman from Friday (Jan. 27) through March 31.

An opening reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday (Jan. 27) at Stillwater Music’s new art and performance venue, 1316 Main Ave., Suite C. A community art project will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 11, and a gallery talk is set for 5:30 p.m. Feb. 17.

Freeman is known for her involvement in Durango Open Studio Tour and The ArtRoom Collective in the Smiley Building, where she has been painting full time since November 2021.
