The Sarah Platt Decker Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 16) at the Community United Methodist Church, 434 Lewis St., Pagosa Springs.

The speaker is Mike Le Roux, emergency manager for Archuleta County, to discuss crossover search and rescue response between Archuleta and La Plata counties.

All are welcome to attend

Membership in the DAR is open to any woman 18 years or older who can prove lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence is eligible to join the DAR.
