We've seen The Durango Herald's positive treatment of teaching critical race theory and appreciation for "diversity, inclusion and equity" ideology being taught in our schools. We've seen numerous snidely negative articles about Lauren Boebert, former President Donald Trump and Republicans. We've seen no negative coverage ever of illegal aliens in this area of the country, almost as if the Herald disapproves of democratically enacted U.S. laws.
All of that's fine, since we are all covered under the First Amendment, but could the Herald act for once as the voice getting information out to the people and give us some coverage about why our two Democratic senators have voted for policies that have all of us in the Four Corners paying higher prices?
It's killing us and we'd like to hear some meaningful responses from our supposed representatives about why they've saddled us with hard times.
