It’s a difficult time to be a Democrat, but it didn’t have to end this way. Had President Biden kept the promise that he represented a one-term transition to a newer generation of leadership, the Democrats would have run an open primary. Instead, in typical Democratic Party style, the primaries were manipulated to favor Biden and to stifle other far more qualified candidates. So much for Whitmer, Klobuchar, Sanders, Shapiro, Newsom, others, you get the point. Instead, the apparatchik installed the candidate of mediocrity. You know, the one who received 1% of popular support on the 2020 primaries then dropped out in shame. Yes, the same one who polled as the least competent VP in recent history. She has demonstrated zero accomplishment and a long list of failures. Just reread the Herald’s endorsement of Harris. Notice the endorsement’s completely devoid of accomplishment, but instead the mysterious editorial board chose to gaslight readers with a well-worn list of Trump criticisms. When distilled to its essence, Harris is nothing more than a DEI candidate with no real values or a resume that suggests that she can lead. Her signature issue is support of late-term abortion. Also make note of her husband’s antics, they certainly don’t speak strongly of support for women’s rights. So, what does she bring to the table? She has no closing arguments other than trying to instill fear of Trump in unwitting voters. Please get a grip.
