Dirty apartment and a potty mouth

An apartment for rent brought a polite person who caused no problems, was quiet and paid his rent on time.

I am a grandmotherly type who, when he asked me to mend his clothes, I did it. When his sink stopped up, we found he had been putting cat hair down the drain. After a year and he had not had the carpet cleaned, I hired the cleaners and paid for it because I wanted to maintain a clean apartment. They said they would never clean again because it was so dirty.

He chose to move out. Since he never bothered to have me do a walk-through with him, I had no idea I would find.

The rugs in the bath were all neat and in place. When I went to pick up the rugs, they were so saturated, especially around the toilet, the backing stuck to the floor. The dust on the curtains was so heavy they had to be discarded. Dust on the stove had to be scraped with a knife.

Remember, looks can be deceiving. Everything looked neat and in place.

When we heard him talking on the phone, we often remarked we wouldn’t want to be on the other end, his language was so filthy.
